What is SLAM Poetry?

Slam poetry, a form of performance poetry that combines the elements of performance, writing, competition, and audience participation. (Encyclopedia Britannica)

This Slam Challenge:

The past year was Crazy. (Goodbye 2020) One of the many issues on the table was the injustices and atrocities against people of color:

Tell Us How You Felt
What Were Your Experiences
Submit an .mp3
Submit an image that compliments your piece.
You will be judged on Creativity, Delivery, Complexity, and Over All Feel
Cursing is allowed; Make it tasteful.
We get 10 Entrants and we give a $50 cash prize to the winner.
We fill all 20 Slots. Double the prize.
